Left turn signals coming to 136th Ave./Riley St. intersection, Holland Twp.

The Board of County Road Commissioners, County of Ottawa, has investigated conditions at the intersection of 136th Avenue and Riley Street in Holland Township and has recommended left turn traffic signals be installed for all directions of traffic to reduce crashes as well as delay for left turning motorists at the intersection.

The traffic signal modifications are expected to be completed by Strain Electric on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019.

Motorists are expected to experience delays as Strain Electric transfers control from the old traffic signals to the new traffic signals while the intersection will be under temporary 4-way stop control.

If weather conditions are inclement, the transfer will take place the next favorable day.
