WHY: Road Resurfacing

BACKGROUND: Starting Aug. 9, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission (OCRC) will begin a resurfacing project on 32nd Ave. Byron Rd. and Adams St. in Jamestown Twp.

This project will consist of milling down existing asphalt, adding a paved shoulder (width varies), 2 new lifts of asphalt, and shoulder restoration.

This work is expected to last until late August, however all work is weather dependent and completion times are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: The road will remain open to traffic during this project, however there will be periodic temporary lane closures. Traffic will be maintained under flag control. Please drive with care and give yourself extra time to get to your destination.
