Permitted closure of Lakeshore Dr. in Park Twp. begins Sept. 12
WHEN: Sept. 12-Oct. 24
WHERE: Lakeshore Dr., Quincy St. to Riley St., Park Twp.
WHY: Pedestrian Bridge Construction
BACKGROUND: A permitted project to install a pedestrian bridge at Camp Geneva across Lakeshore Dr. between Quincy St. and Riley St. in Park Twp. is slated to close Lakeshore between Quincy and Riley beginning Monday, Sept. 12.
This permitted project is expected to last through Oct. 24.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: Lakeshore Dr. will be closed between Quincy and Riley streets. Traffic will be detoured onto 168th Ave.
Railroad crossing work to close Lakewood Blvd. from Beeline to River
CSX Railroad is scheduled to reconstruct the railroad grade crossing on Lakewood Boulevard west of Beeline Road in Holland Township beginning Monday, Sept. 12.
Lakewood Boulevard will be completely closed off to traffic at the crossing starting Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, and is expected to be closed for one week.
A signed detour for Lakewood Boulevard shall follow Beeline Road north to James Street then west to 144th Ave. (Division) then south to Lakewood Boulevard.
Note: It is anticipated that the River Ave./Lakewood Blvd. intersection will reopen Saturday, Sept. 10.
James St. in Holland Twp. to close Sept. 12-14 for water main work

WHY: Water Main Work
BACKGROUND: A permitted project to install water main connections on James St. between 112th Ave. and 120th Ave. in Holland Twp. is slated to close James St. between 120th Ave. and 112th Ave. Monday, Sept. 12-Wednesday, Sept. 14.
